Job summary

Quarterhill Inc. is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across multiple functions, translating business priorities into effective people strategies, workforce planning, and organizational change.

The role requires navigating ambiguity, building trusted relationships, and serving as a SME for one or more People & Culture practice areas, with a focus on employee relations, performance, and talent development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience including HRBP or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR practices.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders to translate business priorities into people strategies across workforce planning and organizational design.
Advise and coach leaders on employee relations, performance, talent management, and engagement.
Support organizational change initiatives, restructures, and business integrations, including M&A when applicable.
Act as a functional SME for one or more HR practice areas.
