Job summary

Quest Software, located in Austin, TX, seeks a Principal HR Business Partner to collaborate with executive leaders, translating business strategy into people, organization, and talent priorities that drive performance and growth.

You will lead organization design, workforce planning, succession, and leadership development, while guiding change initiatives with data-driven insights and strategic influence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience partnering with senior executives.
• Global or matrixed org exposure preferred.
• Strong analytical and business acumen.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Ability to lead organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive and senior leaders, translating business strategy into people, talent, and organizational strategies.
• Advise leaders on organizational structure, operating models, and capability requirements to enable growth.
• Partner with leaders on strategic workforce planning, succession risks, and future workforce needs.
• Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and organizational health.
• Lead or contribute to transformation and change initiatives with focus on adoption and outcomes.
• Balance risk management with pragmatic, commercially sound decisions in partnership with Legal when appropriate.
