Job summary

Monks, a North American talent-driven division, is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders in a dynamic, matrixed environment. You will shape talent strategy, drive organizational design, and advance workforce planning while balancing business priorities and people needs.

You will collaborate across teams to foster a high-performing culture, coach leaders on performance and development, and use data insights to inform critical decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience and proven HRBP background.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
• Experience in advertising, media, marketing, or related dynamic environments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance, and workforce planning.
• Ability to coach, influence, and challenge leaders with credibility and without ego.
• Business acumen and curiosity about how the business makes money and grows.
• Knowledge of AI tools and a drive toward automation.

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic partner to the business and trusted advisor on people and organizational matters.
• Help leaders build high-performing teams through talent reviews and workforce planning.
• Shape employee experience and culture through engagement, inclusion, and practical actions.
• Navigate complex employee relations, performance, and workplace issues with empathy and judgment.
• Lead change-management efforts and partner on organizational restructures and evolving business models.
• Leverage AI tools to drive talent transformation across North American operations.
