Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, Virginia seeks a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a trusted partner to frontline leadership and an advocate for employees. You will lead staffing, performance management, onboarding, training and employee relations across assigned client groups.

This role requires a hands-on presence on the floor through GEMBA walks and kaizens, with flexibility and strong communication as essential traits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
• 1+ year of HR experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner for frontline leaders.
• Oversee staffing, onboarding, and performance management.
• Lead employee relations investigations and safety culture initiatives.
• Implement HR processes and policies consistently across sites.
