Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a trusted partner and coach for department leadership and frontline employees. You will manage staffing, performance processes, onboarding, and investigations, while driving employee relations and open two-way communication.

You will partner with leaders to support safety culture, training, and policy consistency, with a strong presence on the floor and involvement in GEMBA walks and Kaizens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as an HR Specialist, Generalist, or comparable role.
• Knowledge of employment and labor laws and regulations.
• Three years’ experience providing HR administrator/generalist support in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to partner with employees at all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Oracle experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted business partner and coach for frontline leadership.
• Manage staffing for full-time and temporary resources.
• Oversee annual performance management and merit increase processes.
• Identify training needs and coordinate or conduct training.
• Manage onboarding and exit processes.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and policy concerns.
• Develop strategies to drive positive employee relations and open communication.
• Maintain a visible floor presence with GEMBA walks, kaizens, and events.
• Lead HR process-improvement initiatives with the HR team.
