Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Honolulu, HI is seeking an experienced HR leader to partner with site executives on people strategy, talent development, and organizational performance.

You will guide change management, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives to drive business results while aligning with Lowe's values. In this role you will coach site leaders, influence strategic decisions, oversee staffing plans, and collaborate with HR COEs to ensure programs meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5 years progressive HR experience demonstrating increasing s of responsibility and/or authority.
• 3 years HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines while interpreting HR policies and processes.
• 1 year experience managing or supervising others.
• 3 years experience working in a cross-functional team environment with exempt and non-exempt staff.

Responsibilities

• Partners with leaders in planning to drive business results and customer service.
• Understands business conditions and HR trends to present informed viewpoints.
• Identifies development solutions and accelerates associate development via coaching, projects, and exposure events.
• Promotes high-performance through coaching, feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
• Guides and consults on leading people and organizational management to develop site leaders.
• Encourages adoption of new philosophies, technologies, and company initiatives.
• Partners with site leadership to engage associates and promote a customer service culture.
• Provides input to HR COEs to ensure strategies meet business needs and advocates for leaders.
• Uses diagnostics to identify engagement challenges and partners with COEs to implement solutions.
• Promotes adoption of company programs and leverages COEs for support.
• Participates in interview and selection for site people leaders to ensure leadership quality.
• Leads talent assessment discussions with site leaders using COE guidelines.
• Leads sourcing, recruiting, and staffing plan conversations with Talent Acquisition.
• Coaches leaders on change management strategies and blockers.
• Develops plans to ensure exceptional results from change initiatives.
• Aligns communications with company strategy to ensure expected results.
• Partners with Field Leadership on community outreach and local hiring partnerships.
• Supports HR during new site openings, closings, or relocations and advises on restructuring.
