Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company seeks an HR Generalist to provide daily support to the HR Manager and business leaders in applying HR practices, processes, and tools to meet business needs.

You will assist in employee relations, policy interpretation, investigations, and disciplinary activities; counsel management on performance and progressive discipline; and maintain HR data while analyzing reports for the department. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of HR or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; hands-on experience.
• Experience in foodservice distribution, manufacturing, or dairy preferred.
• HRIS experience preferred; strong communication skills; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HR Manager in protecting employee interests and ensuring legal compliance.
• Coordinate and/or conduct employee-relations activities, investigations, and disciplinary meetings.
• Counsel management on employment issues and advise on performance management and progressive discipline.
• Build strong relationships across the organization and collaborate with other HR functions.
• Maintain employee data and prepare HR reports and documentation.
• Assist with unemployment claims/hearings and provide information as needed.
