Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to partner with leaders, strengthen employee and labor relations, and guide workforce planning. This in-office role at the Salt Lake City headquarters cannot be done remotely.

You will support talent management, organizational development, and job evaluation processes while navigating employment law and CBAs. A senior HR professional with a strong policy background will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of HR work experience supporting client groups, including employee relations, talent management, compensation, learning and development, and change management.
• Experience with unions and labor relations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide support and advise Utah Transit Authority client groups on complex and strategic employee and labor issues and help them manage employee/labor relations.
• Assist executives, managers, and supervisors in applying and interpreting HR policies, procedures, collective bargaining agreement (CBA), federal and state employment law.
• Be involved in talent selection development and deployment for client groups.
• Advise management regarding organizational design, position development, and job evaluations.
• Assist in creating/updating job descriptions to document changing relationships, roles, and duties in the company.
• Administer corporate staffing plan and position control; assist managers in modeling labor needs with the business.
• Coordinate and update employee data with HRIS.
