Tampa Electric Company in the United States is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to align HR strategy with business objectives and drive organizational performance in a regulated utility environment.

You will lead talent and performance management, manage employee and labor relations, and design programs that enhance service delivery while ensuring compliance with laws and collective bargaining agreements. This role requires strong collaboration with leaders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Human Resources or related field.
• Master's degree/MBA preferred.
• 5 years of progressive HR business partner experience.
• Experience in regulated utility industry and labor relations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and align HR with budgets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to senior leadership to align HR with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end talent and performance management processes including coaching and development.
• Drive change management and strengthen employee engagement.
• Manage complex employee and labor relations issues; may represent in bargaining discussions.
• Design and roll out HR programs ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
• Analyze HR metrics to guide workforce planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate on HR and cross-functional projects delivering value-added solutions.
