Job summary

Tucson Electric Power Company in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partnership to lead a team of HRBPs and drive enterprise-wide HR strategies. You will partner with senior leaders, coach HRBPs, guide workforce analytics, and collaborate with HR COEs to deliver high-quality HR solutions aligned with UNS values.

You will support organizational design, employee relations, and labor relations activities across assigned business areas, while shaping a cohesive, modern HRBP ecosystem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive HR experience with strong background in HR business partnership, employee relations, and leader coaching.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing HR professionals, including coaching, feedback, and capability building.
• Demonstrated experience operating within a modern HR Business Partner model, including strategic partnership with business leaders and collaboration across HR Centers of Expertise.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations practices, conflict resolution, investigations, and valuesaligned decisionmaking.
• Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, NLRA, FLSA).
• Experience assessing organizational effectiveness (team dynamics, role clarity, communication patterns) and supporting organizational design and change activities.
• Ability to use workforce data and employee experience insights to diagnose issues, identify patterns, and inform decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present information, coach leaders, and navigate sensitive or complex situations with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Leads HRBPs to strengthen leader capability and deliver enterprise-aligned HR partnership.
• Coaches leaders and HRBPs to ensure alignment with UNS values and HR policies.
• Guides HRBPs in using workforce data to diagnose talent challenges and propose solutions.
• Oversees ER and labor relations activities within assigned business areas.
• Partners with HR COEs to ensure accurate guidance on programs, policies, and changes.
• Supports HRBP teams in designing and implementing organizational changes and job descriptions.
