Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Director of HR Operations to lead HR business partnering and people operations across divisions in Holland, MI. The role emphasizes strategic partnership with executives and COEs, driving organizational design, workforce planning, and culture initiatives.

You will manage a team, standardize HR programs, and guide employee relations, performance management, and development efforts while ensuring compliance with employment laws

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Human Resources including ER, talent management, OD, and HR operations.
• At least 3–5 years in an HR leadership capacity.
• HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-division HR Operations team.
• Partner with COEs to deliver standardized HR programs and policies.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
• Drive change management initiatives and organizational transformation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
