Responsibilities

• Directs employment activities, assuring properly qualified employees are recruited and hired in a timely manner.
• Ensures policies and programs are understood and administered consistently; disseminates communication to all employees.
• Oversee HR programs through HR staff; monitor administration of welfare plans and safety programs; ensure accuracy of required documents.
• Administer wage and salary administration and employee performance appraisal programs; review wage ranges annually for equity.
• Oversee payroll processing on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Maintain records and reports for the department; keep executives informed of issues.
