ServiceSource in Fayetteville, NC, is seeking an HR Manager to lead routine HR functions within an aligned portfolio, partnering with leadership to execute strategic talent initiatives and enforce policies across current and future staffing needs.

The role emphasizes recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, and HRIS oversight (Workday). Strong supervisory experience and familiarity with nonprofit and union environments are valued.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 7–10 years of hands-on HR experience.
• 15 years of work-related experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience in unionized environments and nonprofit organizations is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Ability to obtain HR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to HR generalists and hiring managers in recruiting and selection processes.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and EEOC policies; educates managers and staff.
• Oversees onboarding and integration materials for new hires, rehires, transfers and promotions.
• Runs weekly HR reports in Workday and processes HRIS requests; ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversees disciplinary meetings, terminations, and timely investigations.
• Review and approve offers, transfers, or promotions; maintain SOPs and records of investigations.
• Ensure timely processing of Reasonable Accommodation requests and FMLA usage; discuss discrepancies with management.
• Maintain current job descriptions on employee records and update as needed; communicate changes.
• Ensure timely training for new hires, promotions, and transfers; conduct trainings when requested.
• Participate in HR audits and ensure compliance with applicable requirements (e.g., OFCCP, EEO/AAP).
• Maintain confidential personnel files and benefit records; communicate policies clearly.
