Job summary

LifeSkills Connection, Inc. in Manning, IA is seeking a Corporate HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations and supervise the HR Generalist.

You will be the frontline for employee relations and workplace guidance, partnering with the VP of HR to drive strategic HR initiatives. The role offers growth into broader HR leadership as the organization expands, with responsibility for recruiting, onboarding, and compliance across a multi-state footprint.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, including some supervisory or lead experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Government contracting or multi-state employment experience a plus, not required.
• PHR or SPHR certification a plus, not required

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations and directly supervise our HR Generalist
• Be the first point of contact for employee relations, workplace guidance, and conflict resolution
• Own recruiting and onboarding across the organization
• Guide compliance with employment law across our multi-state footprint — with training and support, not expected expertise on day one
• Lead performance management processes and coach frontline supervisors on documentation and difficult conversations
• Partner directly with our VP of HR on strategic initiatives, with genuine room to grow your scope over time
