Job summary

AMS Group, Inc. seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function across our offices. You will own the full employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding to development, retention, and separation, while ensuring compliance across states.

Reporting to the CFO, you will supervise the HR Coordinator & Office Manager and collaborates with Payroll & Benefits on leave and disability programs. You will shape the HR landscape with ethics and innovation across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years HR generalist experience including employee relations, leave administration, investigations, and compliance.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred.
• Experience with multi-state employment, including California.
• Experience using Paylocity or similar HRMS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting and onboarding processes.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Administer multi-state FMLA/ADA leave and return-to-work.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Lead performance, compensation, and development initiatives.
• Draft and maintain HR policies and the employee handbook.
