Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. in Fairfield, IA seeks an experienced HR Generalist to partner with front-line leaders and coach managers on employee relations, compensation, performance management and policy interpretation.

You will work with HR teams to deliver innovative HR solutions and ensure legal compliance in a dynamic environment. The role emphasizes employment law, talent development, and data-driven HR practice, with SHRM-CP or PHR preferred and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate would possess an intermediate level of experience, typically around 5 or more years, with HR practices, employment laws, regulation, conflict resolution, performance management and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, and provide strategic HR guidance to achieve organizational objectives and foster long term relationships
• Employee Relations: Deliver counsel on employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on conflict resolution and performance management to achieve optimal results.
• Performance Management: Support the performance review process, provide coaching and feedback to managers, and support the development of performance improvement plans and goal attainment.
• Talent Management: Partner with leaders to identify talent needs, develop workforce plans, and implement strategies for talent acquisition, development, and retention.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and trends.
• Data Analysis: Utilize HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders for informed decision-making.
