Job summary

Unity in De Pere, WI seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to bridge tactical execution with strategic HR leadership. This hybrid, full-time role partners with finance and operations to translate goals into trackable HR targets, optimize benefits, and drive data-driven workforce insights.

You will lead benefits programs, ensure compliance with federal/state laws, coach leaders, and manage HR staff, while acting with departmental authority in the HR Director’s absence.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience (staffing, employee relations, compliance)
• Leadership: 5+ years in team lead/supervisor roles.
• Experience in mid-sized organizations (200–500 employees).

Responsibilities

• Own benefits administration and HRIS workflows; ensure compliance with FMLA, ACA, leaves.
• Coach leaders on performance, PIPs, and termination protocols; resolve complex employee relations issues.
• Develop HR staff and maintain accurate lifecycle processing; ensure policy adherence and investigations.
• Synthesize headcount and attrition data into actionable leadership reports.
