Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks a Director of HR to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple facilities. You will guide talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational culture while overseeing a seasoned HR team.

In this executive role, you’ll partner with leadership on culture transformation, leave programs, and policy compliance, with a hybrid schedule (onsite Tue/Wed, remote 2–3 days weekly).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• At least five years in a similar HR leadership role.
• Experience overseeing a team of HR professionals.
• Experience leading strategic HR initiatives.
• Experience with Workers' Compensation.
• Experience leading employee relations and investigations.
• Experience overseeing benefits administration.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Must be local to the Tiffin, OH area (relocation not available).

Responsibilities

• Align talent strategy with enterprise goals with exec leadership.
• Direct and develop HR teams across multiple sites.
• Advise managers on coaching, conflict resolution, and talent strategy.
• Oversee leave programs including FMLA, ADA, Disability, USERRA.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and SOPs.
• Lead employee relations and investigations.
• Design performance management, engagement, and succession plans.
• Monitor labor regulations and oversee Workers' Comp and Unemployment risk.
• Deliver trainings on management, policy compliance, and DFWP.
• Use HR analytics to audit compliance and inform decisions.
• Build relationships across organization and lead cross-functional culture projects.
