Job summary

Henderson Group Recruiting seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with plant leadership and drive a high-performance culture. You will guide employee relations, staffing, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance while aligning HR initiatives with operational goals.

You will lead talent acquisition for salaried and production roles, manage HR systems, performance reviews, and development programs in a manufacturing setting. Strong Workday knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong background in HRIS; Workday preferred.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site operations leaders to design proactive employee relations programs.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract, hire, and retain talent across all levels.
• Lead staffing, full-cycle recruiting for salaried staff, and production hires.
• Oversee onboarding, background checks, drug screening, and orientation processes.
• Maintain HR systems, payroll, and employee records.
• Manage leaves of absence, unemployment claims, and policy compliance.
• Conduct investigations and advise on issue resolution.
• Lead training, performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Administer corrective actions aligned with company values.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR on compensation, benefits, and policy development.
• Manage local compensation programs and wage administration.
• Support benefits administration and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with cross-site HR teams on projects.
