Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to act as a strategic business partner to our manufacturing plant leadership. You will lead HR initiatives, drive employee engagement, and align HR with operational goals to build a high-performance culture.

You will design proactive employee relations programs, oversee recruitment for all levels, manage onboarding and HRIS systems, and advise on policy, compensation, and development in collaboration with Corporate HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, industrial relations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Strong HRIS background; Workday experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and South Carolina HR laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site operations leaders to design and implement proactive employee relations programs.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent at all levels.
• Lead staffing and recruitment for salaried and production roles, including manpower planning.
• Oversee onboarding, background checks, drug screenings, offers, and new hire paperwork.
• Maintain HR systems and payroll records; manage leaves of absence and unemployment claims.
• Conduct investigations and advise management on issue resolution.
• Lead training and development, including performance reviews and succession planning with L&OD team.
• Administer corrective action processes and ensure alignment with company values.
• Coordinate with Corporate HR on communications, compensation, benefits, and policy development.
• Manage local compensation programs, including pay reviews and wage administration.
• Support benefits administration and respond to inquiries.
