Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Five years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or in a comparable human resources leadership role.
• Union labor relations experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally and confidentially.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems, with the ability to learn and effectively utilize new technologies.

Aufgaben

• Lead the implementation of HR strategies, workforce planning initiatives, organizational design efforts, and change management activities while providing leadership with insights on key people metrics, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage labor and employee relations activities, including grievance resolution, conflict mediation, collective bargaining preparation and administration, union negotiations, and leadership coaching in a unionized environment.
• Partner with Centers of Excellence to execute compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, payroll, talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee development programs.
• Drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, training, community partnerships, and university relations initiatives that support workforce needs and strengthen the employer brand.
• Ensure compliance with labor and employment regulations, investigate ethics and compliance concerns, analyze HR trends and metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR effectiveness and employee experience.
