Job summary

Vibrantz Technologies is seeking an experienced HR Director, North America, based in Ashtabula, OH, to lead HR strategy for 400+ employees across the Color Solutions unit and travel across the US and Canada.

The role reports to the Vice President, Human Resources Manager, and focuses on driving performance, succession planning, and strategic HR programs that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, HR, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• 10+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Business Partner.
• 5+ years managing direct reports.
• Labor relations experience required.
• Experience working in HRIS and Payroll systems.
• Demonstrate effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages HR strategy including global programs across North America.
• Leads workforce planning and organization design efforts.
• Manages employee relations in union and non-union environments.
• Acts as a mediator between management and employees to resolve conflicts.
• Investigates ethics and compliance concerns and implements resolutions.
• Collaborates with total rewards to execute HR goals within guidelines.
• Manages talent acquisition and coordinates staffing with site HR representatives.
