Job summary

JarrarLabs in Golden, CO is seeking a Chief People Officer to lead the end-to-end people strategy, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and leadership development on-site.

You will design and update HR policies, drive succession planning, address employee relations, and implement programs that support retention, career growth, and an inclusive, high-performing culture while partnering with the executive team on scalable HR processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance management and employee engagement.
• Proven ability to design HR policies and succession plans.
• Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills.
• Strategic HR leadership within tech, engineering, or research.
• Knowledge of US employment law and compliance.
• Ability to build and lead HR teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business; advanced certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and update HR policies to reflect growth and compliance.
• Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Address employee relations matters and resolve escalations.
• Drive employee engagement programs to support retention and culture.
• Partner with executives to scale HR processes and manage risk.
• Analyze HR data, set key people metrics, and report insights.
• Coach managers on people decisions and inclusive leadership.
