Job summary

United Carolina Beverages & Caffey Distributing Company seeks a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy across all divisions and locations in North Carolina. You will partner with executives to shape workforce planning, design scalable people processes, and drive leadership development.

You will oversee HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development, ensure compliant practices, and manage total rewards and labor relations to attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or graduate study in HR, Business, or related field, or current HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
• More than 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience leading HR teams, including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and/or Learning & Development.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or business units in a fast-paced, growth-focused organization.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, DOL, OSHA).
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives and meet deadlines.
• On-site work and travel between NC facilities as needed.

• Provide strategic HR leadership across divisions and subsidiaries, advising executives on workforce planning and design.
• Lead and develop HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams with clear objectives.
• Oversee performance management processes and job architecture across units.
• Direct total rewards, benefits programs, and vendor relationships to manage costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management across employment laws and safety standards.
• Advise on employee relations and investigations; support a positive, compliant work culture.
