Job summary

Imprimis Group is partnering with a growing commercial construction company in Carrollton to hire an experienced HR & Administration Manager. This role serves as the company’s HR department of one, owning the full employee lifecycle and partnering with leadership to support 100 employees across field and corporate operations.

This position will own day-to-day HR operations, recruiting, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and administrative functions with onsite presence in Carrollton, TX.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of broad HR experience with ownership of multiple HR functions.
• Experience managing HR processes in a lean environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting, compliance, and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting field-based or hourly workforce is highly desirable.
• Construction, HVAC, manufacturing, or engineering industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
• Lead recruiting efforts for field, supervisory, and corporate positions.
• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and leadership.
• Administer benefits and coordinate annual open enrollment.
• Handle workers’ compensation, disability, leave, and return-to-work processes.
• Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Maintain HR records, I-9s, and compliance documentation.
• Support performance management and workforce development initiatives.
• Maintain licenses, registrations, permits, and certifications.
