Job summary

Davidson Transit Organization, employment unit of WeGo Public Transit, is seeking a Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager in Nashville to lead HR strategy, labor relations, salary administration, and benefits programs.

The role directs the HR staff, ensures compliance with laws, and partners with legal counsel on labor issues. Exempt, full-time position reporting to the Director of HR and Labor Relations.

Qualifications

• Years of experience leading HR in a unionized environment; transit exp desirable.
• Bachelor's in HR Admin or related; Master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and policies required.
• Strong interpersonal skills; tactful, flexible, sound judgment; proficient in MS products and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HR administrative activities for DTO personnel.
• Advise on personnel issues and implement policies and procedures.
• Lead HR staff in development and delivery of HR programs.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in development of rules and regulations.
