Job summary

Davidson Transit Organization (DTO), the employment unit of WeGo Public Transit, seeks a Planning and Development Coordinator in Nashville. This high-level role provides project administration, executive support to the Deputy CEO, and cross-department coordination to advance planning and development initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in a public sector, transit, or community development setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, urban planning, political science, business, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools, GIS or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate capital project activities, including tracking deliverables, schedules, and milestones.
• Maintain project dashboards, calendars, and documentation for leadership review.
• Prepare scopes of work, procurement documents, and manage procurement activities.
• Track project schedules, resources, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Prepare project status reports, fact sheets, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support grant applications and reporting for transit capital funding.
