WeGo Public Transit seeks a Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager in Nashville to lead HR programs, labor relations, and policy development. You will supervise HR staff, coordinate payroll and benefits, and ensure compliance with labor laws while working with the DTO Board and legal counsel.

You will manage recruitment and performance processes, oversee time/attendance, and advise supervisors on disciplinary actions, while staying current on transit labor matters and union dynamics.

Qualifications

• Several years of HR leadership experience in a unionized environment, transit experience desirable.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration or related field; a Master’s is preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and policies applicable to HR and labor relations.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office and HRIS.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate administrative activities related to DTO personnel and policies.
• Lead and supervise HR staff in delivering HR programs and services.
• Develop and implement HR strategies in line with DTO direction and law.
• Oversee recruitment, salary administration, benefits, and workers’ compensation risk.
• Interact with legal counsel on labor issues and manage union tasks and grievances.
