Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible engineering/construction experience.
• Experience managing small-to-medium-scale projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of non-major capital engineering and construction projects, including site improvements and renovations.
• Oversee in-house engineering/construction staff and manage external contractors/consultants.
• Provide supervision, performance management, and staff development in line with DTO policies.
• Coordinate construction efforts across Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Administration and Planning.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and guidelines.
• Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and submittals.
• Implement QA procedures and contractor performance systems.
• Track cost, schedule, and quality; prepare progress reports and maintain docs.
