Job summary

YWCA Greater Cleveland is seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations and foster a positive, accountable workplace culture. You will manage a broad range of employee needs, partner with supervisors, and work independently in a small HR environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• At least three years of broad HR generalist experience including employee relations and HR operations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with HRIS and ATS and eager to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, personnel records, and offboarding.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to employees and supervisors on HR policies, employee relations, performance, and attendance.
• Coordinate benefits, leave administration, employee accommodations, and related communications.
• Support HR compliance, documentation, investigations, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee data and reports in iSolved HRIS; use digital tools to improve HR processes and service.
• Partner with leadership to identify practical improvements and maintain a respectful, inclusive workplace.
