Job summary

Martin Marietta in Phoenix seeks a Senior Human Resources Generalist to partner with plant managers and operations leaders, delivering HR services across a key business unit. You will lead recruitment for trades and non-technical roles, administer performance reviews, develop career paths, and ensure compliance with EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA, while promoting ONE Martin Marietta culture.

This role also drives safety training, HRIS data integrity, benefits open enrollment support, and HR metrics

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience in heavy industrial or construction settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field; professional HR certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA with ability to interpret policies.
• Proven ability to lead recruitment across technical and non-technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for employee concerns, conducting investigations and applying policies.
• Promote ONE Martin Marietta culture and drive inclusion and diversity.
• Advise management on personnel policies, procedures, and programs.
• Lead recruitment for technical and non-technical roles using ATS/CRM to build pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers on sourcing strategies and campus partnerships.
• Administer performance reviews and guide managers on feedback.
