Job summary

rms Company, part of Cretex Medical, seeks an experienced Sr. Human Resources Generalist to support performance management, talent acquisition, onboarding, and policy interpretation at our Minnesota facility.

You will lead HR projects, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with employment laws in a manufacturing setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR (or SHRM certification) and at least 7 years of HR experience, with a proven ability to recruit across levels and manage employee relations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or active SHRM certification required.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience in HR.
• Experience recruiting entry level to management in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of state, local, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience consulting on a wide variety of employee relations situations.
• Focused problem-solving skills with analytical and system thinking ability.
• Strong initiative and results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, trusting relationships with business leaders and HR.
• Lead HR projects and initiatives onsite from both business and corporate offices.
• Mentor and support HR team members at the facility or other operating companies.
• Make recommendations, advise, coach leads and managers.
• Resolve employee relations issues.
• Conduct onboarding and offboarding sessions.
• Facilitate onboarding check-ins with employees.
• Support workplace committee teams (wellness, people and culture).
• Ensure HRIS, employee files, and I-9 documents are accurate and maintained.
• Support injury management and employee leaves.
