Job summary

Unified Life Insurance in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a driven HR Generalist to support a scaling workforce. You’ll partner with the Head of HR to build scalable people processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a high-performance culture across the organization.

The role covers employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, HR operations, onboarding, and learning initiatives. You will handle full-cycle recruiting for a range of roles, manage HR records, and contribute to workforce

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in financial services or regulated industries.
• Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Full-cycle recruiting experience across various roles.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers across all levels.
• Lead workplace investigations with confidentiality and objectivity.
• Support managers through performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for a range of roles and manage offers and background checks.
• Maintain HR records in the HRIS and administer benefits/open enrollment.
• Design onboarding programs and coordinate regulatory/ethics training.
• Partner with Head of HR on workforce planning and strategic HR initiatives.
