Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking an experienced HR leader to steer the division's people strategy, performance, and talent initiatives. You will partner with management to drive planning, training, and organizational effectiveness across multiple sites.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing HR, labor relations, and proven ability to develop leadership pipelines while delivering compliant, performance-driven programs. This position is on-site in Canton, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10-15 years experience in HR in a related manufacturing business.
• 2-5 years experience as a business unit's top HR executive; preference for union and non-union as well as multi-site operations.
• Demonstrated experience in training and development, organizational effectiveness, benefits, talent management, and strategic HR planning.
• Demonstrated experience in attracting and developing proficient divisional staff.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Effective written skill required.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a key member of the division management team in development of strategic and annual operating plans.
• Develops the strategic direction for the divisional HR functions.
• Leads weekly conference calls and facilitates discussions based on HR action plans and issues.
• Administers the Hendrickson Performance Appraisal System; reviews division-level appraisals; advises on salary adjustments.
• Attracts, retains and develops divisional staff; leads IDP processes and cross-functional training initiatives.
• Maintains employee relations and ensures compliance with policies; serves on safety and HR excellence teams.
