Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking an HR Generalist to support multiple HR functions at the plant level, including recruitment, training, safety, wage administration, and employee relations. The role reports to the HR manager and may travel up to 25% to plant locations.

Proficiency with Oracle HRIS and strong communication skills are essential. The position requires 5–10 years of HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field; SHRM-CP/PHR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 5-10 years of HR experience.
• Willing to relocate for next promotion/development.
• Experience delivering training is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
• Strong PC skills is a must.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and support HR processes including performance appraisals, orientation, salary administration, and HR metrics.
• Deliver mandated and other training modules to hourly and salaried personnel.
• Recruit for openings following established process with hiring managers and candidates.
• Provide employee benefits information and answer questions on benefits policies.
• Lead employee relations activities and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain HR records in accordance with legal and ISO requirements.
• Assist with Workers' Compensation and Return-To-Work programs.
• Lead Co-Op and Intern programs and succession planning.
• Assist in annual training plan creation for locations.
