Job summary

Solomon Page is recruiting an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead HR for a client with approximately 750 team members. You will manage a five-person HR team, partner with senior leadership to shape HR strategy, strengthen employee engagement, and support a large, diverse workforce.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in day-to-day HR operations. Onsite five days per week, you will drive workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations while

Qualifications

• Requires at least seven years of HR management experience.
• Experience leading an HR team and serving as an HR business partner across multiple functions.
• Experience supporting a large, diverse workforce of exempt and nonexempt employees.
• Strong employee relations, leadership coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a five-person HR team.
• Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organizational needs.
• Manage complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, consistency, and discretion.
• Guide performance management and coach leaders on employee development and accountability.
• Develop engagement and recognition initiatives that strengthen retention and employee satisfaction.
• Align community HR practices with enterprise initiatives and business priorities.
• Support an inclusive workplace that attracts, develops, and retains talent.
