Applitrack is seeking a Director of Human Resources to provide day-to-day oversight of the HR Department in the Administration Building. You will lead the HR team, ensure compliance with laws and board policies, and drive recruiting, hiring, and retention of staff to support teaching and learning.

You will build capacity, guide HR professionals, conduct investigations, and coordinate with district leaders on talent management and policy updates to sustain a robust HR infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in human resource administration within an education setting.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in HR Management or Labor Relations.
• Strong knowledge of school code, employment law, PDE certification rules, and Act 93.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Compliance with required clearances and pre-employment checks.

Responsabilités

• Lead the HR team and administer all HR functions in alignment with district mission and policies.
• Develop the HR team's skills and implement efficient, innovative processes.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and discipline; handle sensitive issues.
• Oversee talent acquisition, recruitment, interviewing, and succession planning.
• Coordinate policy updates, staff handbooks, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Lead onboarding and entry processes, tracking and communicating steps across the district.
• Coordinate payroll communications and ensure accurate hiring, promotion, and benefits data.
