Job summary

Donegal School District is seeking a Director of Human Resources to design, develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with district goals and comply with School Code and laws. This role oversees recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, safety, and wellness district-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration (preferable in HR) and 3–5 years HR experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains HR policies and procedures for uniform, fair treatment of employees.
• Leads HR team in talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits.
• Designs and coordinates administration of employee benefit programs with the Director of Business Services.
• Coordinates and participates in recruitment of employees.
• Provides support to Title IX Coordinator as requested.
• Performs labor relations tasks and resolves employee relations issues.
