Job summary

Millard Public Schools seeks a Director of Recruitment and Retention in Human Resources to lead long-range recruiting plans and workforce strategies across the district. The role partners with hiring managers and building administrators to meet staffing goals and support mission-critical talent initiatives.

The position oversees teacher, paraprofessional, and support staff recruitment, plus student teaching and substitute programs, with reporting to the Associate Superintendent of Human

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in educational administration preferred; six-year specialist degree required.
• Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate with endorsement required.
• Minimum three years of recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating staff experience.
• Ability to develop district recruitment and selection programs and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement proactive recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Assist in interviewing, selecting, and assigning teachers and other staff.
• Meet recruitment goals and manage attrition and succession plans.
• Coordinate Student Teaching and Student Education Academy programs.
• Coordinate the Substitute Teacher Program and long-term placements.
• Attend recruitment events to source candidates and maintain relations with administrators.

Education

Doctoral degree preferred

Six-year specialist degree required
