Job summary

NexJobs is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as primary contact for HR issues across the Midland area. You will support operations leadership, ensure policy compliance, and drive talent initiatives with a strong HR generalist background.

You will manage employee relations, provide day-to-day performance guidance, conduct investigations, and partner with legal and L&D to align HR programs with business needs. Travel to remote sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR generalist experience
• Experience in employee investigations and employee relations
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations issues and build relationships to improve retention and morale
• Provide day-to-day performance guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development)
• Investigate complex employee relations issues and advise on disciplinary action
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and compliance related to employees and liaise with legal as needed
• Provide HR policy guidance and help drive improvements to HR policies and processes
• Prepare reports and analyze data with HR teams to develop programs and policies
• Guide workforce planning and succession planning initiatives
• Assist in processing transfers, promotions, and demotions
• Collaborate with L&D to identify and deliver training needs
