Ameriprise Financial seeks a Manager, HR Business Partner to support leaders across HR4HR and Marketing, Strategy & Communications. You will provide consultation on talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, employee relations, performance management and compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in an HRBP, HR Generalist, or similar consultative role.
• Broad knowledge of core HR disciplines: talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and consult effectively with leaders and employees.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and judgment skills with the ability to synthesize information and influence decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including tailoring messages for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with leaders and understand priorities of HR and Marketing, Strategy & Communications.
• Provide day-to-day HR consultation to leaders with a practical business perspective.
• Support workforce and organizational planning, design, and leadership transitions.
• Lead talent processes: goal development, talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, and compensation.
• Partner to consult on talent strategies to strengthen performance and leadership capability.
