Job summary

AmeriLife is seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide proactive HR support to managers and employees while aligning HR initiatives with the strategic plan. You will advise on workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, policy interpretation, and employee development to strengthen engagement and organizational capability.

You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Legal to ensure compliant, effective HR service delivery and to drive sustainable business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years HR experience, preferably in an operational/HRBP role.
• Experience with employee relations, policy interpretation, onboarding, or manager consultation preferred.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive HR support to managers and employees.
• Partner with managers on workforce planning, recruitment, and organizational design.
• Advise on talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Design onboarding experiences and support culture integration.
• Collaborate on talent development, leadership development, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Deliver consultation and training on people management practices.
• Support employee relations and coordination with Legal as needed.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards for compensation guidance and with HR centers of excellence.
