Job summary

The Gates Foundation is seeking an HR leader to support clients across divisions, translating business strategies into people and organizational priorities, and partnering with the Director HRBP.

You will develop human capital solutions foundation-wide, provide general HR support, lead annual processes, and help build a high-integrity culture while collaborating with regional senior leaders.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or Business.
• Knowledge as collaborator and bridge-builder across teams and within human resources.
• Ability to demonstrate a "One HR" and "One Foundation" approach.
• Demonstrated ability to drive transformation and growth to build a high integrity culture through the organization.
• Strong leadership skills, business acumen and consulting skills.
• Proven track record of building, aligning and implementing a sustainable HR agenda that fuels business performance and organizational capability development.
• Experience interfacing effectively with all levels of management and employees in highly matrixed non-profit/global organization.

Responsibilities

• Function as HR leader for a group of clients and partner with relationship manager for those clients.
• Provide counsel as a strategic business partner, change agent, and advisor to leadership.
• Support clients and senior leaders in building organizational capability and a high integrity culture.
• Aid senior management in developing organizational solutions (e.g. team effectiveness, organization design, process improvement, culture, talent planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and workforce planning).
• Work with leaders to facilitate and identify systems level, root cause diagnosis of organizational issues that impact business strategy.
• Direct and facilitate core HR annual processes for respective teams using standard, center driven tools and approaches to achieve desired organizational outcomes.
• Influence talent assessment and performance management regionally to drive a high integrity culture.
• Engage in business and strategy discussions with regional/divisional leaders to influence decision-making for future actions.
