Delta Dental of Arkansas is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a strategic advisor to department leaders, translating priorities into practical people strategies. This role supports workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, performance management, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

The HRBP combines strong HR expertise with business acumen to guide leaders, coach managers, and analyze HR metrics, driving improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business, or organizational development.
• Six+ years in progressive HR roles advising managers and leaders.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, investigations, workforce planning, and compliance.
• Ability to build credible relationships with managers and employees at all levels.
• Strong business acumen linking workforce needs to goals and priorities.
• Experience using HR data to identify trends and inform recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to department leaders on workforce planning, engagement, retention, and team effectiveness.
• Partner with leaders to align staffing and people practices with goals and priorities.
• Advise on organizational structure, workload needs, and team design.
• Support leaders through change, transitions, and communications.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Coach managers on setting expectations, feedback, performance, and development.
• Identify workforce trends and recommend proactive actions to reduce risk.
• Analyze HR metrics and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Lead or support HR initiatives to improve engagement, capability, and effectiveness.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies across departments.
