Job summary

Delta-Dental is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic advisor to department leaders. You will translate organizational priorities into practical people strategies, covering workforce planning, talent development, performance management, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

You will partner with managers to align staffing with goals, advise on structure and workload, and drive change initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Six or more years of progressive human resources experience advising managers and leaders.
Experience in employee relations, performance management, investigations, workforce planning, and HR compliance.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or comparable certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders on workforce planning, engagement, and retention.
Partner with leaders to align staffing, talent, and people practices with goals and priorities.
Advise managers on organizational structure, workload needs, and team design.
Support change, transitions, and communications within departments.
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
Coach managers on feedback, performance, and employee development.
Analyze HR metrics and translate findings into practical actions.
