Delta Dental of Arkansas seeks a Director of Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis to lead accounting, payroll, FP&A, underwriting, and business intelligence. You’ll guide budgeting, forecasting, and rate-setting while delivering timely financial reporting and strategic insights to executives.

The role manages a team responsible for accounting, payroll, FP&A, underwriting, and BI, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to support company

Qualificações

• CPA or CMA required; advanced GAAP knowledge; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; leadership and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Directs accounting, payroll, FP&A, underwriting, and BI functions for timely and compliant financial reporting.
• Leads budgeting/forecasting, rate-setting, and data-driven decision support for executives.
• Oversees audits, regulatory filings, and financial examinations with external auditors.
• Develops and presents monthly financial reporting to senior management and the board.
• Mentors staff and drives process improvements across finance, underwriting, and BI workstreams.
