Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Walker, MI is seeking a Human Resources Manager to act as a strategic HR business partner for the corporate salaried population. You will deliver HR programs and services that improve engagement, effectiveness, and compliance.

You will partner with leaders on performance management, talent development, workforce planning, compensation, policy interpretation, and organizational change. Expertise in Workday HCM and data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience driving employee engagement and organizational development.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws across federal, state, and local levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the HR business partner for corporate salaried employees, guiding employee relations and performance management.
• Partner with leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives and workforce needs.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and internal mobility for salaried staff.
• Manage HR data in Workday, including organizational changes and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies; maintain confidential records.
