Special-Lite is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner in Michigan to deliver HR services across staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance. You will partner with plant management to implement HR programs and coach leaders in best practices.

The role emphasizes full HR lifecycle support, including recruiting, onboarding, training, leaves, investigations, policy interpretation, and workforce development in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business or related field required.
• 2+ years HR/administration experience.
• HR policy and procedures knowledge.
• Labor and employment law knowledge (NLRB, EEO, ADA, AA, FMLA).
• Recruiting and staffing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide HRBP support in job management, staffing, employee relations, training, and related areas.
• Monitor and coach managers and supervisors.
• Administer leaves of absence, FMLA, and disability coordination.
• Oversee HR processes with staffing agencies and vendors.
• Process HRIS data entry and timecard verification.
• Assist with salary and benefits administration.
• Assist with internal investigations into discrimination or unfair employment issues.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
