Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to deploy HR strategies at assigned facilities and act as the bakery’s primary HR advisor. This role oversees compensation, policies, training, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations while championing Flowers Foods values and culture.

You will forecast needs, partner with Talent Management, and drive succession planning to sustain a strong workforce across the facility.

Qualifications

• 3 or more year’s progressive human resources experience
• Must operate with a high degree of freedom within the frame work of recommended corporate policies
• A four year degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Directs the execution of HR policies, procedures, and programs including supervision of personnel administration, wage and salary administration, safety, benefits, employee communications and labor relations.
• Promotes Flowers Foods corporate values and culture.
• Partners with plant leadership as the primary HR strategic advisor for the bakery.
• Develops a trusted advisor relationship with plant leadership and provides people context for business decisions.
• Manages recruiting, talent development, performance management, and leadership development strategies.
• Trains and develops plant leadership team.
• Translates business challenges into focused HR initiatives.
• Monitors HR data and trends and provides insights to inform decisions.
• Maintains HR files and salary records, both electronic and physical.
• Oversees pre-employment, onboarding processes, and onboarding of new hires.
• Supports employee engagement and cultural programs.
• Keeps Regional HRBPs informed on HR matters and assists as requested.
