Job summary

MISO is seeking an experienced HR leader to act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, shaping workforce priorities and organizational design across the company. You will leverage analytics to influence senior decisions and drive leadership effectiveness.

The role requires deep expertise in design, planning, succession, and performance management, with a focus on reducing risk and improving operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with strategic business partnership.
• Experience in organizational design, workforce planning and talent strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic HR advisor to executive leadership, providing independent consultation on workforce priorities, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to influence decisions using workforce analytics and HR expertise.
• Evaluate organizational structures, spans of control, capacity and capability to improve effectiveness.
• Lead or support organizational assessments and change initiatives, advising on readiness and risks.
• Analyze workforce trends, turnover, headcount and demographics to identify risks and inform strategic recommendations.
• Develop workforce plans addressing capability gaps and critical roles.
• Advise on talent management, performance management, succession planning and engagement strategies.
• Coach leaders on performance expectations, leadership behaviors, and accountability.
• Partner across HR functions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance on complex employee matters and organizational risk.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve HR service delivery.
